Wedding and Special Event Information

Our church facilities can be used by members and nonmembers.  

Any event using the Fellowship Hall needs to be scheduled through the church hostess. The hostess brings the request to the staff to make sure there is adequate staff to handle the event. A facilities request form found in the church office needs to be filled out to finish the request procedure. The hostess will stay in contact with the person requesting the Fellowship Hall to make sure their needs are met if the event can be scheduled. 

To schedule a wedding the wedding party needs to contact the church hostess. After a conference between the two, the hostess takes the request to the ministerial staff to make sure the date is clear for everyone.  First Baptist regards the wedding ceremony as a worship service and the expectation is that the bridal party will also regard the ceremony in the same way.
